Welcome to our new website

The aim of the new site is to provide a source of information for news and events related to Addiscombe and Croydon.

The website is updated by Blackhorse Residents Association committee members.

Recently we took action in regards to concerns about the lighting and the high walls on the temporary (Or not so temporary!) walk way on Blackhorse Bridge, Our Chairman Mr. Vincent McLaughlin wrote to TfL and the Croydon Council and the sides were lowered and new lighting was installed.

With the bad weather and rain, a large area of casual water made walking across the bridge a problem, this was also reported and dealt with. There are ongoing concerns in regards to safety late at night and we are proactively contacting the different parties involved to see if the area around the bridge can be improved.
