Mount Pleasant Garden
The small triangle of space at the top of Coniston Road had long looked neglected. About 3 years ago Vincent, our Chairman, started making enquiries about its ownership.
With the permission of the Council he gained access and the Association set about tidying the space.

The benches and railings have been painted and the beds weeded and some planting done.
There is an abundance of bulbs which give a lovely display in Spring, bedding in Summer and a small herb bed. We have had some plants donated by residents and some of the bedding has been supplied at a discount by Stephen's of Addiscombe.
All have been planted by members of the committee – especially Vincent who has also provided a seasonal display at Christmas for the past couple of years.
